2.6 Attaching a Strainer

To select the right strainer for your application,

refer to Figure 2-8 and the table that follows.

To attach the strainer to the suction line,

carefully screw the strainer’s threaded
connector into the suction line. If attaching the
strainer to an PTFE-lined suction line, heat the
suction line end before threading the strainer
