Appendix E: PCI Express (PCIe) Card
Under normal operation, the PCI Express (PCIe) card is not required and should never
be used. The only time the PCIe interface will be required is in the unlikely event that
the Kuro camera’s firmware needs to be reloaded/upgraded.
E.1 Install the PCI Express (PCIe) Card
Figure E-1 illustrates a typical PCIe interface card.
NOTE:
The specific PCIe card shipped with the Kuro may vary from
that illustrated.

Perform the following procedure to install a PCIe card into the host computer:
1. Shut down the host computer and unplug it from the wall receptacle.
2. Remove the side of the host computer to access the PCI and PCIe slots. See
Figure E-2 .
