Althou g h some re p airs to the Teledyne Isco 21 5 1, 21 5 1P, 21 5 0E X , and 21 9 4E X modules can
be made without o p enin g the unit (such as p roblems with the battery com p onent or firm-
ware), there are some re p airs that would require o p enin g the unit. However, the Tele-
dyne Isco 21 5 1, 21 5 1P, and 21 5 0E X modules cannot be o p ened for re p air without
voidin g their intrinsically safe certification. Therefore, Teledyne Isco offers a p rorated
re p lacement cost durin g the first four years of ownershi p of the unit.
The first year is covered by Teledyne Isco’s One Year Limited Factory Service W arranty,
which will re p air or re p lace your 21 5 1, 21 5 1P, or 21 5 0E X module free of char g e durin g
the first year, p rovided it meets the terms of the warranty.
For succeedin g years of ownershi p , if failure is due to faulty p arts or workmanshi p ,
re p airs that can be made without o p enin g the unit will be done at the p revailin g techni-
cal service rate. If re p air would require o p enin g the unit, Teledyne Isco will re p lace the
unit accordin g to the p rorated costs listed below:
• Year 2: re p laced at 2 5 % of current list p rice
• Year 3 : re p laced at 5 0% of current list p rice
• Year 4: re p laced at 7 5 % of current list p rice
• Year 5 and after: re p laced at 100% of current list p rice
