Notes: Horizontal cursors are moved pixel by pixel across the grid. Both cursors use the same source
which can be any of the waveforms.
Here the difference in time between the start and end of the square wave, its inverse and the individual
times are shown in the top corner of the display.
The time reference (t=0) is the trigger point (indicated by the small red vertical arrow on the top line of
the screen).
Step 8:
Press RUN/STOP to switch back to continuous triggering. Now select a timebase of 1us/div. In
the CURSOR menu change Mode to Track. Now two cross-hair cursors are displayed. Select each cursor
in turn and adjust to measure rising edge of the waveform.
Notes: Track cursors are moved to any point along the trace and can be used to measure time and
voltage. Each cursor can use CH1, CH2 or NONE as the source. Selecting NONE turns off the
corresponding cursor.
The Track Cursor is a cross-hair marker. When the cross-hairs are placed on a data point, they change
as the data changes. All time and voltage values are displayed in the top corner of the display.
