Calibrating TF-HDMI-3.3V
For all channels using the TF-HDMI-3.3V adapter, calibrate out the TF-HDMI-3.3V offset on each lane to be tested prior to
running the QualiPHY tests.
As long as the test setup remains the same, this calibration should be good for all
acquisitions made within the same software session.
1.
With no signal attached, turn on all input channels using TF-HDMI-3.3V to display a DC baseline trace(s).
2.
Turn on all channels using the TF-HDMI-3.3V adapter.
3.
Turn on the oscilloscope’s MEAN voltage measurement on all displayed channels.
4.
Insert the supplied adjustment tool into the Terminator Adjust port on the TF-HDMI-3.3V adapter and turn it until
the measured MEAN is 3.3 V ±10 mV.
5.
Repeat Step 4 such that all channels measure the same voltage and all traces are aligned.
