4.1. Possible applications:
The TFT colour monitor uses active-matrix LCD
technology, comes with one video input port
and offers a fast and clear, rich in contrast
image reproduction. The monitor also features
an energy-saving mode:

The monitor turns on when a video signal
(1 Vss) is connected to the input port.
▸
The monitor turns off when no video signal
(1 Vss) is available at the input port.
You may use the monitor for a number of tasks,
e.g. in Video surveillance or for multimedia
purposes.
4.2. Safety information
Both the monitor and its power supply unit
comply with directive 89/336/EEC on electro-
magnetic compatibility. The power supply unit
also complies with directive 73/23/EEC on low
voltage.
Please note: The power supply unit will be
connected to the power grid's lethal voltage
(230 V~). In any case, do not meddle with this
device. Improper handling may result in an
electric shock or electrocution. Opening the
power supply unit or the monitor results in loss
of all warranty claims.

4.3. Operating the device:
Please adhere to the following points:
The monitor and its power supply unit are made
for indoor use only. Please make sure to protect
the device and its power supply unit from drip-
ping or splashing water, high degrees of humid-
ity and heat (tolerable temperatures 0-40° C).
Do not turn on the monitor or disconnect the
power supply unit immediately:

if either the monitor or the power supply unit
is visibly damaged.
▸
if you expect damages as a result of a fall or
similar accidents.
▸
if you experience flaws while operating the
device.
Always have the devices repaired by trained
specialists. To clean your device only use a soft
and dry tissue without chemical detergents or
water.
The manufacturer is not liable for physical
injuries and/or material damages resulting from
improper use, wrong installation or handling
and improper repair of the power supply unit
and the monitor. This will also result in the loss
of all warranty claims.
In case you want to retire the monitor or the
power supply unit, please pass the devices
on to a local recycling company for proper
disposal.
