DDNS
Generally, the IP address is unknown where
the video server directly and automatically
establishes an internet connection via a DSL
modem and PPPoE. To circumvent this problem,
the video server may contact the service
DynDNS® (http://www.dyndns.org) after the
connection has been established.
This service provides up to five names free of
charge. The data used to register with DynDNS
then need to be entered in this interface. Then,
you can use the domain name chosen to contact
your video server.
