3 Advanced
Functions
CAUTION!
Modification of some parameters in this menu may affect the correct operation of the receiver. Therefore it is important
that you carefully read this section of the manual before changing any settings. Some functions are protected by a
password to prevent accidental changes (see section 3.2.3).
During normal viewing, press MENU on the remote control to open the main menu, which will include the
following four sub-menus:

SOME SIMPLE NAVIGATION RULES
Use the following buttons to navigate through the various menu items:

press to select a menu or option
x
press OK to confirm a selection or to open a menu
x
press MENU or EXIT to quit a menu or return to the previous screen
In any case, always follow the indications given on each menu screen which usually provide a function’s corresponding
remote control button.
3.1 TV/Radio Menu
The
TV
or
Radio
menu is used to consult the
TV/Radio Guide
(see section 2.4) and to modify the
TV/Radio
List
.
Various functions are provided in the
TV List
or
Radio List
, which can be selected using / on the remote
control:
1.
Fav
: Add the selected channel to one of the eight favorite channels list
2.
Lock
: Block access to a channel using a password
3.
Edit
: Rename a channel
4.
Search
: Search for a channel by name
5.
Move
: Move a channel to another position
6.
Sort
: Order the channel list
7.
Skip
: Hide a channel. A hidden channel can be made to re-appear only by pressing its position number
on the remote control
8.
Delete
: Eliminate one or more channels from the list
3.2 Setup Menu
The
Setup
menu is dedicated to the first installation of the receiver. It has the following sub-menus:

3.2.1 Installation
The
Installation
menu allows you to setup the general system of your receiver, configure the receiver for
correct interfacing with the antenna and external audio/video devices and perform a channels search.
3.2.1.1 General
Setting
The following parameters are available:
1.
OSD/Audio/Subtitles Language
: select the main audio and subtitles languages from the menu.
2.
Auto Standby
: after three hours of user inactivity, the receiver will automatically go on Standby.
3.
Auto Time Zone
: automatically regulate the time according to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
4.
Time Zone
: regulate the time based on the local time difference with respect to GMT, when
Auto Time
Zone
=
OFF
. Italy’s time zone is
+ 01:00
.
