INSERTING A CODE
In the memory of the receiver
A code may be inserted into the memory of a TANGO receiver without going through the self-memorising operation by
transmitter.
Proceed with programming, e.g. of the code 5678, as follows:
Remove the memory from the receiver (see TANGO instructions) and plug it into the SLAVE base of the card
provided.
Plug in the card with the memory into the MEMORY CONNECTOR of the programmer.
From the main menu:
1
(Ins) entry into the code insertion mode
5678
type in the code to be programmed
P
enter into the programming mode
2
(Mem) select the device to be programmed (in this case the memory).
The programmer now asks “ Tx can:?”, i.e. with which transmitter button the receiver is to be enabled?
1
For example with channel 1.
P
Confirmation of channel 1. The writing “Rx can:?” then appears, i.e. which relay is to be activated?
2
For example with relay 2.
P
Confirmation.
If the writing CODE OK appears for a moment, this means that the operation has been successfully completed.
If the writing COD. PRES. appears for a moment, this means that a code which is already present has been inserted.
ERASING A CODE
From the memory of the receiver
A code may be erased directly on the receiver memory.
Proceed with erasure, e.g. of the code 5678, as follows:
Remove the memory from the receiver (see TANGO instructions) and plug it into the SLAVE base of the card provided.
Plug in the card with the memory into the MEMORY CONNECTOR of the programmer.
From the main menu:
3
(Can) selection of the code erasure mode.
5678
type in the code to be erased.
P
enter into the programming mode.
2
(Mem) select the device from which the code is to be erased (in this case the memory).
The programmer now asks “ Tx can:?”, i.e. which code channel is to be erased.
1
For example channel 1.
P
Confirm erasure operation?
P
Confirm operation.
If the writing “CANC. OK” appears for a moment, this means that the operation has been successfully completed.
If the writing “Code no pr” appears for a moment, this means that the code to be erased is not stored.
