For Level B operation, the SDI pathological signals
will look different on a picture monitor than they do
in HD or 3Gb/s Level A. This difference is due to
the difference in interleaving. In order to have the
correct pattern to create the pathological conditions,
the data bytes have been distributed differently on
the Y and Cb/Cr streams. The same data values
are used, just in different parts of the signal.

to return to generator mode operation.(See

When the generator is set to 2K format, an item labeled 2K TEST SIGNAL KEY
ASSIGN is added into the menu. In this menu item, use the left ( ◄ ) or right ( ► )
arrow button to select between the Rec. 709 test signal set or the Projector test
signal set. The following table shows the signal set assigned to each test signal
button, and the signals offered in each signal set, when the module is con
fi gured
to output projector test patterns.
