Performance Tests

RSA3303A & RSA3308A Service Manual

Perform the tests in the baseband and RF1 band:

Press the

BB+RF1

side key to perform the tests.

Check the test results:

Check the pass/fail results displayed on the lower left of the screen

(see Figure 4--7 on page 4--16).

If the instrument fails any tests, go to

When the Auto Tests Fail

page 4--19.

STOP

. Steps 6 through 8 are the tests in the RF2 and RF3 bands for RSA3308A

only. For RSA3303A, skip to step 9.

Change the signal generator:

Disconnect the N--N cable from the signal generator (Item 1) output.

Connect the N--N cable to the signal generator (Item 2) output.

Set the GPIB address of the generator:

Press the

Config...

side key.

Press the

SG Type

side key to select the manufacturer of the

generator (Item 2) for the GPIB command system: HP or Anritsu.

Press the

GPIB Address

side key and set the generator address.

Press the

Cancel--Back

(top) side key.

Perform the tests in the RF2 and RF3 bands:

Press the

RF2+RF3

side key to perform the tests.

Check the test results:

Check the pass/fail results displayed on the lower left of the screen

(see Figure 4--7 on page 4--16).

If the instrument fails any tests, go to

When the Auto Tests Fail

page 4--19.

Disconnect the test equipment:

Disconnect the N-N cable from the analyzer input.

Turn off the analyzer and generators.

Disconnect the GPIB cables from all the ports.
