Default Configuration
Table 3-13 shows the default values for the Light transducer configuration registers. Light

before Rev D
is buggy in the sense that any attempt to set the
Light Threshold causes the Threshold to be automatically set to 64 such that the transducer
status is always “dark” (the Sensor becomes light de
-sensitized). However, if the Light
Threshold is not touched, the Sensor operates expectedly with the default value given in Table
3-13
, which basically means that the slightest amount of light triggers the Sensor (for a “bright”
status). Otherwise (i.e. only for absolute darkness), the status is dark.
