4.9  Modbus connections 

The DUOS IoT Gateway has a Modbus layer that allows the customer to connect via the              

RS-485 port or the Ethernet interface. The connection parameters to the Modbus server are 

as follows: 

Modbus RTU 

Modbus TCP 

Rate: 115200 

Parity: None 

Data bits: 8

 

Stop bits: 1 

Address: gateway IP address 

Port: 1502

Once connected, requests for reading and writing can be carried out in the registers. Currently, 

the allocation of addresses to registers follows the protocol in the following table.
