Set the minutes by pressing the
button repeatedly, or hold it down
to cycle continuously through the minutes .
• Confirm the time by pressing the
button once. The cup symbol
stops flashing to indicate that an automatic start has been set (if you
do not confirm by pressing the button within 30 seconds, the
appliance cancels the changes and reverts to the existing time).
You can pause and resume the coffee-making cycle at any time by
pressing the
start/stop button.If you do not stop the coffee maker
manually, it will stop heating automatically two hours after it is started
on models with a conventional jug, and after 15 minutes on models
with an insulated flask.
Cancelling a programmed start:
• Press the
button once. The cup symbol disappears.
• To confirm a new automatic start, press the
button once;the cup
symbol reappears.
Note: You must always confirm by pressing the
button whenever
you program a new automatic start.
Displaying the programmed start time:
• Press the
button once. The automatic start time is displayed.
• The display reverts to the current time after 30 seconds.

CLEANING
• To dispose of the used coffee grounds, remove the filter holder (f)
from the coffee maker.
• Unplug the appliance.
• Do not clean the appliance while it is hot.
• Clean with a damp cloth or sponge .
• Never place the appliance in water or under running water.
• The jug, the jug lid and the filter holder can be washed in the
dishwasher.

DESCALING
• It is important to descale your coffee maker e very 40 cycles.
You can use:
• either one sachet of coffee maker descaler, diluted in 2 large cups of
water.
• or 2 large cups of white vinegar .
• Pour into the tank (b) and run the coffee maker (with no coffee).
• Allow the equivalent of one cup to run through into the jug or
insulated flask (c), then stop the appliance .
• Leave the descaling product to work for one hour.
• Restart the coffee maker to complete the cycle .
• Rinse the coffee maker by running 2 or 3 cycles with 1 litre of water.
The warranty does not cover coffee makers that malfunction or
cease to operate because they have not been regularly descaled.

TROUBLESHOOTING
• Check that the appliance is plugged in correctly.
• Check that the switch or programmer (on certain models) is switched
on.
