Cooking
Allow the appliance to pre-heat, the green light comes on when the correct cooking
temperature is reached
.
Do not touch the metallic surfaces of the appliance during pre-heating, because they
are very hot.
Select the desired temperature using the thermostat
.
Open the appliance.
Pour the waffle batter into the centre of the hollow part of the plate
.
Immediately close the appliance, using the handle, so that the batter is evenly
distributed over the whole surface of the plate
.
Do not hold onto the handle of the appliance during cooking, as this will prevent the
batter from rising.
Note:
During cooking, the green thermostat indicator light will come on and go off again
at regular intervals in order to ensure the cooking temperature remains constant.
Equally, you can adjust the thermostat at any time during cooking if you feel that the
temperature is not high enough, or again, is too high.
The cooking time is around 2-3 minutes and may vary depending on the recipe.
Once cooking is complete, remove the waffle using a spatula
.
Place the waffles on a cooling tray and wait for 1 minute before eating: they become
more crispy.
Do not use metallic or sharp utensils, as they could damage the coating on the plate.
After use
Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it and allow it to cool down.
Never place the appliance in water or under running water.
To clean the outside of the appliance,
use a damp sponge and dry carefully.
To clean the plates,
use a damp sponge with washing up liquid.Rinse and dry them with
care.
Never use a scouring pad or powder.
Storage
The appliance can be stored vertically
.
Wind the cord around the hinge and insert the plug into the casing provided
.
