OPERATION
1. Remove the device from the packaging and peel off any labels.
2. Wipe the waffle maker plates with a damp sponge or cloth and dry
thoroughly afterwards.
3. Place the appliance on a dry and flat surface.
4. Make sure the power supply socket is nearby.
5. Open the cover and apply a layer of vegetable oil or butter on the plates
using kitchen towel or brush for dough.
6. If necessary wipe off any excess oil.
7. Close the cover and insert the plug into supply socket. Red and green
lights turn on indicating that the appliance is on and started heating.
8. Wait until the green light goes off; it means that the plates have reached
the baking temperature. The waffle maker is now ready to be used.
Notes:
•
It is normal for the green light to go on and off while the appliance
is operating. It means that the waffle maker keeps the baking
temperature.
•
Initially, the appliance may release an odor. This is a normal reaction
caused by initial heating of the plates and should not reoccur.
WARNING:
•
Never use metal, sharp or coarse kitchen utensils as they can
scratch the non-stick surface.
•
Exercise caution as hot steam will escape when opening the
cover or removing the waffles from the plate.
!
9. Use the cool-touch handle to open the cover.
10. Pour the batter on the plates evenly so that the batter covers the peaks
of the plates. Batter cannot pour out of the plate.
11. Close the cover.
12. It is recommended to bake the waffles for about 3 to 8 minutes; please
remember though to adjust baking time to your preferences and batter
type.
13. Open the cover and carefully remove your waffles with a wooden or
plastic spatula, fork or another similar kitchen tool.
14. If making more than one waffle repeat the baking process by adding
more batter on to the plates. If needed, apply a thin layer of fat on the
plates before adding batter.
