Basic manual for the module IT-1604

DESCRIPTION AND PARAMETERS
The IT-1604 expansion module contains 8 analog inputs with a common pole and 2 analog
outputs with a common pole. Inputs are universal and can be configured as a voltage inputs,
current inputs or for two-wires connection of passive RTDs. The resolution is 16 bits. The mod-
ule ensures processing of measured value, conversion to engineering units etc. Analog outputs
are of voltage type, 0÷10 V with 8 bit resolution. Both analog inputs and outputs are galvanically
isolated from power supply, TCL2 communication and internal circuits. The status of each input
is indicated on the module front panel. The module is fitted with removable screw-type connec-
tors. For current ranges, it is possible to use external resistance 100 Ω for closing the current
loop even without running controller. For 3-wire connection of RTD the external resistance 7k5
has to be used and supply the circuit from reference voltage on the Vref terminal. Using of ex-
ternal resistors has to be enabled in Mosaic software.
