7.14.  DISASSEMBLING THE BELT

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph 
7.8.  “Disassembling the frame guards”. 
 
1.  Back off the nut

 with a 17-mm wrench. 

2.  Back off the dowel

with a 4-mm hex T 

wrench. 

3.  Move the alternator toward the flywheel in 

order to pull the BELT

 out of the alternator 

pulley.
