Introduction
Acoustic water leak detector «Success AT-107» is used for acoustic detection of water leakages
in underground pipelines and valve inspection.

1.2 The principle of operation
Leakage in pipeline creates the noise, which is transferred through pipe material. High-quality
microphone of water leak detector catches slightest noises of leaking water when attached to the
pipeline. Acoustic sensors transforms the noise into electric signal and transfers to the receiver.
The signal is processed in the receiver, transferred to headphones and indicated on the receiver.
According to noise level in headphones and indication on receiver face panel an operator can
understand if he is approaching the leakage or has already passed it.
