WARNING/CAUTION/NOTE
Carefully read and strictly follow all Warnings and Cautions listed in this manual. Servicing and maintenance should
only be done by qualified personnel.

Always hold the Bracket with both hands when you manipulate it.

To avoid injury, hands should be clear of the top of the medical device while pivoting handle to install or remove
the medical device from its bracket.

Always verify the top handle if locked prior to manipulating or lifting the mount with the unit on it.

Improper usage of the Cardiatek Bracket can cause serious injury to the patient or operator. Operate the bracket
only as described in this user guide.

Do not modify the Cardiatek Bracket, Wall Mount of Floor Mount or any components of the systems. Modifying the
product can cause unpredictable operation resulting in injury to the patient or operator.

It is the responsibility of the operator of the Cardiatek Mounting Systems (Bracket, Wall Mount, and Floor Mount)
to ensure equipment being used with the Technimount products meets the installation specifications. Injury may
result if non-compatible products are used with Technimount System products.

Do not attempt to operate, install or remove the equipment while mobile. Ensure that installation and removal of
equipment is done while vehicle or aircraft is immobilized.

Failure to install and lock the system with the top handle can cause the medical device to fall during transportation
and may cause injury to the patient or operator and may damage the product. Always secure the medical device
within the Bracket and mounting system during transport.

Practice loading and unloading the medical device (Locked during transportation and unlocking to unload and
load medical equipment until operation of the product is fully understood. Improper use may cause injury to the
operator.

Always hold the Cardiatek Bracket securely near the middle of the Arm on one side while holding top handle when
changing positions from locked to unlocked. Failure to do so, can cause equipment to fall which can damage the
product and/or cause injury to the operator.

Do not allow untrained staff to assist in the operation of the Cardiatek System. Untrained technicians/staff can
cause injury to the patient or themselves.

Do not sit or ride on the Cardiatek Mounting Systems,damage to the product could occur, and may result in injury
to the patient or operator.

Operators must be able to safely lift the total weight of the Cardiatek System (Medical Device and Bracket), and
any items attached to it.

Never use the Cardiatek System if not properly installed and locked on a Surface Base, Safety Arm System on a
cot/stretcher, on the Cardiatek Wall Mount or Floor Mount. If not installed properly, the medical device could fall
during transport and may cause injury to the patient or operator and/or damage to the product.

Do not attach restraints to the Cardiatek frame, the surface base, or on any other place of the Cardiatek system. It
may result in damage to the System and/or result in injury to the patient or operator.

Do not place any additional equipment or objects on the Cardiatek Bracket, Wall Mount, or Floor Mount, other
than approved Technimount Systems or components.
