1.  Insert the IV pole from the top of the IV pole 

holder.

2. 

Slide in until you reach one of the grooves on the 

IV pole to hold into position.

3.  There are 2 grooves in the IV pole.

a.  Lower IV pole to the top groove to store the 

IV pole when not in use.

b. 

Raise the IV pole to the bottom groove when   

in use. 

4. 

There are 2 positions for the IV Pole.

a. 

Lowest position when not in use.

b. 

Highest position when in use.

WARNING

The Fluid Bag Pole is meant to be used only for 

the temporary transfer between ambulance and 

hospital.  The  pole  CANNOT  be  used  inside  the 

ambulance during EMS transport.
