Playing Music - 1

Press and hold the POWER key to switch the player on.
• Press the or key to select Music mode.

key to enter MUSIC mode.

All Songs:

All songs are displayed whether they are in folders or not

*Artists:

Select music from any named Artist.

*Albums:

Select music from any named Album.

*Genres:

Select music from any named Genre.

*These categories are dependent on the ID3 tag

Playlists:

Select music from a playlist of your choosing (see Page 22-23)

To play all the songs in the player:

The player sorts music into categories using ID3 tags.

ID3 tags are electronic tags embedded by the music producer in the

recording and contain information such as song and album title, artist, production date and much more. This is the informa-

tion the player sorts when it boots up. As long as the ID3 tags are present, you can rename a file or sort it into folders but the

player will always be able to identify the music by the original tag. If ID3 tags are not present, the player will group the music

files into an “anonymous” section
