9  Fill the bath to between the minimum and maximum levels 

which are 65mm and 20mm from the top of the bath.

10 Fridge baths are supplied with a lid and this should be used 

whenever possible..

Cleaning your unit

Before cleaning your unit, disconnect from the power supply and 
allow to cool to ambient temperature.

You can clean the case of the refrigerated unit with a cloth dipped 
in water or ethanol (methanol or formaldehyde can also be used). 
No part of the case or cover should be immersed in the solvents.

Do not use acetone or abrasive cleaners.

Packing

When you receive your new refrgerated bath, remove all the 
packing.  check the unit for any transit damage.  If there is any 
transit damage at all inform Techne Sales Department or your 
Techne dealer immediately.
When unpacking the unit, check that the following have been 
removed from the packing: a power cable (RB-5A only); a 
decontamination certificate and a Guarantee card.
check that the unit is the correct rating for your power supply by 
looking on the Rating Plate which is on the rear of the unit.
Within the guarantee period, shown on the Guarantee card, we 
undertake to supply replacements free of charge for parts which 
may, on examination, prove to be defective, provided that the 
defect is not the result of misuse, accident or negligence.  Any 
instrument requiring service under this guarantee should be sent 
to the supplier through whom it was purchased, or, in the case of 
difficulty, it should be carefully packed in its original packing and 
consigned, carriage paid, to us.  Techne takes no responsibility for 
returned goods damaged in transit.

Returned goods will not be processed without a Returns 

Authorisation number. Call + (44) (0)1785 810475 for a 

number. 

On all correspondence, please quote the Serial Number 

in full and/or the Sales Order Number.

  Please write the Returns 

number on the outside of any packing.
