Mounting instructions
1. Prepare and varnish the front spoiler according to the varnishing
instructions.
2. Preparation
2.1
Lift up the car at intended points and dismount the front wheels.
3. Mounting of the
TECHART
Front spoiler
3.1
Remove the screws of the inner wheel housing below and on each side the first
above the front end. (See fig. 1.2)
3.2
Remove connecting screw between front end and front lip. (See fig. 1.3)
3.3
Remove the screws of the underside of the front lip. (See fig. 1.4)
3.4
Dismantle the brake air duct at the vehicle left and right. (See fig. 1.6)
3.5
Pull out front lip (Porsche original) evenly for 15 cm in driving direction 15 cm and
unplug the front fog lamp, then remove the front lip completely.
3.6
Cut of the fog lamp cable 20mm behind the plug and attach one of the shorter
cable looms as described before.
Please note:
Heat all impact-connectors with a hairdryer after crimping so that the connectors
will be waterproof sealed.
3.9
The main supporting sheet metal has to be removed from the fog lamps. Unscrew
the below attach supporting sheet metal and attach it on the top.
3.8
Install the fog lamps into the support metal sheet (See fig. 3.3)
3.9
Affix the headlamp mounting panel with 4 screws at the front spoiler (See fig. 3.4)
3.10
Screw the supporting sheet metal with the before affixed headlamp mounting
panels to the front spoiler (see fig. 3.5)
