9. GENERAL MAINTENANCE

9.1 CLEANING

To help retain the high quality and
performance of your printer it should be
regularly cleaned.  The greater the usage
of the printer, the more frequent the
cleaning.  (i.e. low usage = weekly: high
usage = daily).

1. Turn off the printer.

2. Open the media cover.

3. Remove the media roll from the printer.

4. Clean the print head element with the

print head cleaner.

5. Wipe the cutter platen and strip roller

with a soft cloth moistened with alcohol.
Remove dust or foreign substances from
the internal parts of the printer, if any.

WARNING!

Care should be taken not to injure your
hand with the cutter when cleaning.
