BEFORE USE
• This appliance runs on 4 AA/(L)R06 batteries.
• Remove the tank by turning it until the symbol

on the motor unit ends up in front of
the opened padlock

on the tank.
• Fill the transparent tank with salt or pepper.
•
Remove the battery compartment from the metallic housing of the appliance and
insert the batteries in such a way that the top of the batteries is aligned with the
inside the compartment.
• Put the battery compartment on the tank and make sure that the 2 metallic sticks of
the battery compartment are placed on the 2 small metallic rings of the tank.
• Put the metallic housing on the assembled tank and battery compartment in such a
way that the symbol

on the motor unit is placed in front of the opened padlock

on the tank and screw the tank until the symbol

ends up in front of the closed
padlock

. Then pull gently at the tank to make sure that it is fully tightened onto the
motor unit.
USE
• Before seasoning your meals, you can adjust the size of the ground salt and pepper
by turning the button which is under the appliance.
• To do so, remove the protection by pulling it and turn the button clockwise for
smaller grind and do the contrary for larger grind.
• Hold the appliance above the meal to season and push the button which is on top
of the appliance. The light lights the part you are seasoning.
Maintenance
Disassemble the different parts of the appliance and clean them separately with a damp
cloth.
Battery
If your appliance does not work properly, it is probably because the batteries are
discharged. In that case, replace them by new ones of the same type (cf.
Before use ).
It is possible that if you try to use rechargeable batteries, the appliance will not function,
which may be caused by the size or the charging capacity of the rechargeable
batteries.
Please eliminate the old batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
