RECOMMENDATION
There are many kinds of tea leaves and each of them has its own taste and optimal
water temperature and steeping time. The recommended temperature and steeping
time you can find in below table:

SAFETY CUT-OUT
•
This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device which switches the
appliance off if it is accidentally switched on without water.
•
In this case, put the switch in off position and wait about 10 minutes for the element
to cool. Then fill the jug kettle with cold water. This will reset the safety device.
•
The kettle may then be used as normal.
•
Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
•
To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry
thoroughly.
•
To remove scale from the inner walls and from the filter you can use a soft brush.
•
Never use abrasive products.
•
On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
Filter
•
Your appliance is provided with a removable filter. When you want to boil water,
settle the filter first.
•
The filter should be rinsed clean regularly.
Descaling
To remove scale from the jug kettle, use products made especially available for this
purpose. Make sure to use a type recommended for plastic kettles and follow the
product's instruction manual carefully.
