Your scales allows you to use the metric measurement system (grams, kilograms) OR the imperial
system (pounds/ounces). Choose the measurement system by pressing the “U” key when the appliance
is switched on. The default measurement unit is “grams”. If you press the button, the measurement unit
will be “pounds” (lb), next ounce (“oz”), next kilogram (“kg”).

Put the scales on an even and hard surface, for instance a table. Avoid soft surfaces. At the center of the
device, set the silicone bowl.

Tare function
With the tare function you can measure only the content of a container without measuring the weight of
the container itself.

” key lightly with your finger. The scales will turn on and the LCD display will show
“0.000” lb, “0.00” oz, “0” g or “0.000”kg.

3) Press the “ ” key to reset the weight to “0”. The weight of the container will now be displayed as
zero, even though it remains on the weighing platform.
4) Add the ingredients into the container and read the weight when the display is stable. Only the weight
of the ingredients in the container will be displayed.
5) If you have to weigh/add several ingredients one after another in the same container, you can also
use the tare function and in this way you will each time get the exact weight of the ingredient you have
added.
6) The scale turns off automatically if there is no action within 120 seconds. You can also switch the
scale off anytime by keeping the “ ” key pressed for two seconds.
Overload indicator
If the “EEEEE” symbol appears on the LCD screen, it means that the maximum weight accepted by your
scales is exceeded, please remove the object from the weighing platform in order not to damage your
scales.
Low battery indicator
If the “LO“ symbol is displayed on the LCD screen, it means that the battery of your scales should be
replaced (see paragraph Before the first use).
Battery
If your appliance does not work properly, it is probably because the battery is discharged. In that case,
replace it with a new one of the same type (see paragraph Before the first use).
