STOP:
Stop playback when playback or stop recording when recording.
RECORD:
Record current service or set stop recording time when recording.
REW:
Fast backward
F.F:
Fast forward
SLOW:
Press to slow at 1/2, 1/4, speed
TIMER RECORD:
Short Cut to timer record.
Using the Learning Key:
The STB remote control is the one with four learning keys plus self-coding function.
The keys can be used for the STB remote control to function as any four keys of the
TV remote control by learning.
There are four learning keys that were highlighted with a white line on the remote
control. They are TV POWER key followed by 2 volume key (VOL+ & VOL-) at the
bottom and TV/AV key.
Users do not need to use the TV remote control while watching the digital TV
program after the STB remote control has learned to control the basic function of the
TV.
Instructions to use the STB remote control learning keys:
1. Press SET key for more than three seconds till the indicator light turns on.
2. Press a learning key that you wish to teach. The indicator light will flash until it
learns a signal.
3. Aim the TV remote control at the "receiving window" on the top of the STB remote
and press the key that you wish to teach.
4. The indicator light on the STB remote control will give three quick flashes to
indicate that it has received the signal.
5. Press the SET key on the remote and the learning key is ready to use.
6. When pressing keys on the “TV key” window of the STB remote control, the
indicator light will flash. It indicates that the STB remote control is to control the TV.
It is the same as the VOL+, VOL- and TV/AV keys.
