Connecting cables
When using the main unit (LX-1000) alone or with a single expansion unit
(AU-LX1000EPIO), they can be powered with a single battery unit (BU-LX1000).
When using two or three expansion units, two battery units are necessary.
Connect battery units and, if using them, AC adapters (included with the
LX-1000) as shown in the following illustrations.
16-channel and 32-channel models

Using with an external power supply
Power can be supplied to the LX-1000 by connecting AC adapters included with
the LX-1000 to the DC IN connectors of BU-LX1000 units.
The LX-1000 unit operates on 8V–36V DC.
To supply power using equipment other than the included AC adapter, correctly
follow the pin number assignments in the “DC IN power connector” chapter of
the LX-1000 Instructions for Use.
Equipment could be damaged if connections are made with incorrect pin num-
bers or voltage that exceeds the guaranteed voltage operating range is supplied.
