Operation
Receiving calls
A ring tone sounds.
In case of a call from the front-door,
the image from the front-door station is
automatically displayed.
If there is a call from a flat-door or
another indoor station, the display
stays inactive.
Speaking
Can only be realised with a front-door
station or an indoor station.
Lift up the handset to accept the call.
It is not possible for third parties to
listen in to conversations or see the
video image.
End conversation
Hang-up the handset.
The image is switched off.
Automatic conversation and image deactivation
after 2 min.
Open the door
Press the blue door release button.
Function key
Switch the image
(pre-set ex works).
Shortly press the function key to dis-
play the image from the front-door
station without having received a call
from the front door. By pressing the
function key repeatedly, images from
further cameras (if available) can be
displayed.
Ring tone mute
Slide the call OFF-switch
down
. No
ring tone sounds when a call comes in.
Switching-ON the ring tone
Slide the call OFF-switch
up
. A ring
tone sounds when a call comes in.
Setting the ring tone volume
The ring tone volume can be adjusted
continuously with the ring tone volume
control.
Setting brightness
and contrast
In standby mode you can manually
adjust brightness and contrast of the
indoor station in 8 steps.
Press the function key and the door
release button simultaneously for at
least 8 s until the image is displayed.
Press the function key to set the con-
trast. The setting is implemented in 8
continuously increasing steps.
Press the door release button to set
the brightness. The setting is imple-
mented in 8 continuously increasing
steps.
If no button is pressed for more than 8
s the indoor station returns to standby
mode (video off) and the settings are
stored automatically.
