Using the Onscreen Keyboard
Onscreen Keyboard settings
Touch
Settings > System > Language & input
, touch the Virtual
keyboard you want to set up
and
a series of settings will become available.
Adjust the Onscreen Keyboard orientation
Turn the phone sideways or upright to adjust the onscreen keyboard
orientation. You can adjust it by changing the settings (Touch on/off
Settings > Display > Auto-rotate screen
).

Switch between
symbol and ABC
keyboard.
Long press to
select symbols.
Touch to switch input method.
Long press to
change keyboards.
Enter numbers or
select from contacts.
Long press to show more options.
Touch to switch
between "abc/
Abc" mode;
Long press to
switch to "abc/
ABC" mode.
Insert a GIF, sticker,
location, voice
memo, contact, or
other file.
Insert a picture from
gallery or shoot one
directly.
