This function may be useful if the walkie-talkies are
clearly transmitting on different channels, but you
do not know which ones.
M
Press the scan button .
SCAN
will appear on the display.
The walkie-talkie now continuously scans all 8 channels from
1 up to 8 and shows each of these on the display.
Pressing the button will make the channel search
run backwards from 8 to 1.
As soon as signals are received, the search stops and
you will be able to hear the message or radio signals.
If the signal is no longer transmitted through the
channel found, the channel search will start again
automatically.
Press the
TALK
button when you hear the radio signals
of a channel that has been found to deactivate the
scan function and to automatically save this as a new
channel.

Press the scan button to switch off the channel search.
The device will then switch back to the last channel you set.
Switching on the display lighting
As soon as you press a button other than the On/Off switch ,
the display lighting will switch on.
It will switch off automatically after 5 seconds.
