ADJUST REDUCTION BOX CHAIN
TENSION:
1: Loosen the two lock bolts and the adjuster bolt.
2: Turn steering wheel and lightly tap the adjustor
so that there is significant steering play.
3: Lightly hold the steering wheel against the left or
right side holding light tension on the chains.
4: Slowly tighten the adjustment screw.
a. The steering wheel will rotate as the screw is
tightened.
5: Continue until the steering wheel stops rotating
and then an additional 1/8 to 1/4 turn.
6: Tighten the two lock bolts.
7: If required, center the steering wheel.

WARNING
FRONT END ALIGNMENT
There are no front end alignment adjustments.
A vehicle that pulls to the left or right could be a result
of but not limited to:
• Broken or fatigued fork spring.
• Bent fork.
• Bent frame.
• Dragging rear brake.
• Seized rear wheel bearing.
CENTER THE STEERING WHEEL
Note: It is recommended to adjust the steering
chain tension before performing this
procedure.
1: Remove the steering wheel and reinstall on the
shaft but DO NOT tighten the nut at this time.
The nut should be finger tight so the steering
wheel cannot accidentally come off.
2: SLOWLY drive the vehicle on a level surface so
that the vehicle is traveling in a straight line.
3: Stop, turn the start switch off and set the parking
brake.
4: Remove the steering wheel and reinstall so that it
is positioned as shown in the illustration.
5: Install and torque steering wheel nut to the
torque listed in the Hardware Torque table at the
end of this section.
