FOOD SAFETY ADVICES AND GUIDELINES
COOKING WITH RONER CLIP
-There are two types of differentiated cooking:
the direct and the indirect.
-The direct cooking is that cooking intended for
immediate consumption, is seasoned, packa-
ged as appropriate, cooked and consumed.
-The indirect cooking is that cooking that seeks
to soften the hard tissues of meats and other
pieces by heat. These cooking are made to
vacuum packed products, are usually long-time
cooking (6-24-36-48 hours) and cooked at tem-
peratures of approximately 65 °C.
-These two types of cooking can be combined,
when a product is introduced along with a sau-
ce and other elements to cook. They can also
be double, when a product is marked to brown
it, before or after cooking it under vacuum or at
low temperature.
-For indirect cooking (storing foods after
cooking, which will be consumed later), this
is advised only to users with the appropriate
knowledge.
-For safety reasons, Taurus recommends
consuming the elaborations in both direct and
indirect cooking, immediatly after cooking.
-In the professional use, the rules and protocols
of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points
(HACCP), regulations and advice of the alimen-
tary administrations, and the good practices
in the manipulation of the foods will be of strict
application.
-As a general rule applicable to all users, the
maximum hygiene in handling, cleaning uten-
sils and cutting surfaces, before using RONER
CLIP, will be respected.
-All products and ingredients have to be of the
highest quality and freshness.
-In the case of long-time cooking (6 hours or
more) and vacuum packed, respect the tempe-
rature from 65 °C.
-Consult the basic orientation table for each
food group at the end of the instructions.
ADVANTAGES:
-Low-temperature cooking prevents liquid
loss and dehydration and drying of food while
respecting its natural structure.
-Vacuum cooking enhances the aromas and
flavors of food and condiments used.
-Respecting cooking chain, the life of the food is
considerably extended.
-Allows preparing dishes in advance.
-Cooking in water ensures more accurate re-
sults tan in a convection oven.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
-Make sure that the entire product’s packaging
has been removed.
INSTALL THE SKIRT:
-Hold the unit and align the unlocking symbol
and the arrow, rotate the skirt in clockwise di-
rection until you can see the arrow and locking
symbol are in the same horizontal position
(Fig.2).
USE:
-Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
