The central unit has been manufactured with a stop-
per to lock the scales during transportation in order to 
prevent any damage.

 CAUTION.

 

The scales must be unlocked before using the 
appliance, performing the following at its base: 
1. Loosen the screw marked with the arrow until 
it stops. (Figure 39).   
2. Slide the yellow tab to the “ON” position. 

 

(Figure 40).

 CAUTION.

 

Lock the scales again if transporting the applian-
ce in any means of transport.
To lock the scales, proceed in reverse, in other 
words: 
1.  Slide the yellow tab to the “OFF” position. 
2. Tighten the screw marked with the arrow until 
it stops.

Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface that can 
withstand high temperatures, located at a safe dis-
tance from other sources of heat or possible water 
splashes.

Do not cover or obstruct the ventilation grills located 
at the rear of the appliance.

 Retract the required length of cable from its stow-

away 

(Figure 41).

 Turn the appliance on by pressing the start /stop 

switch
