3.10. Using the “ZERO” or “TARE” function:
3.10.1. This function is used to when weighing differ-
ent ingredients without removing the bowl to add a
new ingredient.
3.10.2. “TARE” function:
(This function tells the scale that whatever is on it
should be ignored. Example, the container weight.)
3.10.2.1. The LCD will show “----” or “0g” each time
you press the ON/OFF/ZERO button. “----” means
the scale is processing, please wait for a moment.
3.10.2.2. The scale should now show “0g” and the
“T” icon will appear in the bottom left corner of the
LCD, this means the TARE function is active.
3.10.2.3. The Max. weight capacity is reduced by
the total weight of the ingredients added in the
stainless-steel bowl.
3.10.3. “ZERO” function:
(This function tells the scale there’s nothing on it.)
3.10.3.1. The LCD display will show dashes “----” or
“0g” each time the ON/OFF/ZERO button is pressed.
Please wait when “----” is displayed, it means the
scale is processing. “0g” will display when weights
have been zeroed out, Maximum weight capacity
remains unchanged.
3.11. Auto shut off:
3.11.1. Auto shut-off occurs if
the display shows “0” or shows
the same weight reading for
30 seconds.
3.12. Manual shut off:
13.12.1. To maximize battery
life, after use. Press and hold
the ON/OFF/ZERO button for
3 seconds.
3.13. Warning indicators:
13.13. (1). Means replace with
a new battery.
13.13. (2). Means Scale is over-
loaded, remove the item.
4. Cleaning and care
4.1. Clean the product with soft, slightly damp (not
wet) cloth. Remove the stainless-steel bowl and
clean thoroughly. Do not place the scale in the
dishwasher or submerge in water. The scale is not
waterproof.
4.2. All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately
after contact with fats, spices, vinegar and strongly
flavoured/coloured foods.
4.3. Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface, DO
NOT use on carpet.
4.4. DO NOT strike, shake, or drop the scale.
4.5. The scale is a precise instrument. Please treat
with care.
4.6. Put the scale in cool and dry place.
4.7. If fail to switch on the scale, check whether the
battery is installed, or battery power is low.
4.8. For home use only. Not suitable for commercial
purposes.
5. Recycling
5.1. These electrical products, cables, batteries,
packaging, and the manual, should not be mixed
with general household waste. For proper recycling,
please take these products to your nearest Creative
Housewares office where they will be accepted for
recycling free of charge.
6.2. Alternatively, please contact your local authority
or household waste disposal service for further
details of your nearest designated collection point.
Correct product disposal saves resources and
prevents negative effects on human health and the
environment.
