-Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is
damaged.
-If any of the appliance casings breaks, immedia-
tely disconnect the appliance from the mains to
prevent the possibility of an electric shock.
-Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the
floor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it
has a leak.
-Do not force the electrical wire. Never use
the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug the
appliance.
-Do not wrap the cable around the appliance.
-The power cord must be regularly examined for
signs of damage and if damaged, the appliance
must not be used.
-Do not use or store the appliance outdoors.
-Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
USE AND CARE
-Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before
each use.
-Do not use the appliance if its accessories are
not properly fitted.
-Do not use the appliance if the on/off switch
does not work.
-Do not move the appliance while in use.
-Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use
or connected to the mains.
-Do not force the appliance’s work capacity.
-This appliance is for household use only, not
professional or industrial use.
-This appliance should be stored out of reach of
children and/or the disabled.
-To push food down the feed tube, always use
the pusher, never use your fingers or any other
device.
-Never leave the appliance connected and unat-
tended if is not in use. This saves energy and
prolongs the life of the appliance.
-Do not use the appliance for more than 1 minute
at any one time.
-Do not use the appliance with frozen goods, ice
or those containing bones.
-Any misuse or failure to follow the instruc-
tions for use renders the guarantee and the
manufacturer’s liability null and void.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
-Make sure that all the product’s packaging has
been removed.
-Before using the product for the first time, clean
the parts that will come into contact with food in
the manner described in the cleaning section.
USE:
-Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in.
-Adjust the filter in the upper body
-Fit the protective lid in the correct position so
that it is immobilised (Fig.1)
-Connect the appliance to the mains.
-Press the open/close button, start the appliance
using the on/off switch. Caution: if the lid in not
correctly fitted the appliance will not function.
-Insert the properly-cut fruit or vegetables into
the corresponding opening in the protective lid
-Gently press with the pusher.
-The juice and the residual pulp will automatically
separate out: the juice directly to the cup and
the residues to the filter holder.
-Do not run the motor for more than 1 second
at a time. Stop the motor and allow it to cool
for at least 1 minute. Otherwise the motor may
become damaged.
-Once finished, leave the motor to run a few
seconds so that the juice can be strained.
-Stop the appliance using the start/stop button
and disconnect it from the mains.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
-Turn the appliance off, using the on/off switch.
-Unplug the appliance to the mains.
-Clean the appliance
CLEANING:
-Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let
it cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
-Do not submerge the appliance in water or any
other liquid, or place it under a running tap.
-Clean the equipment using a damp cloth with a
few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
-Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or
base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products,
for cleaning the appliance.
-Remove the pusher, the protective lid, the filter
and the filter holder. All the parts apart from
the motor body can be cleaned under the tap
using detergent. It may also be cleaned in the
dishwasher, except the filter.
-The filter must not be cleaned using aluminium
scourers, other metal objects or abrasive liquids
such as bleach.
