SAFEGUARDS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT:

Read all instructions before operating the unit. 

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should 

always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, property damage, 

electrical shock and personal injury, including the following:

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

Do not touch hot surfaces. 

To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord/plugs in   

water or other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when the unit is being used, especially near

children.

Unplug unit when not in use and before cleaning.  Allow unit to cool 

before moving or cleaning.

Never operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug or after the unit has

 malfunctioned or have been damaged in any manner. Return 

appliance to Tatung’s service facility for examination, repair or adjustments. 

The use of accessories or cooking pans which are not recommended by 

Tatung may caus

res or injuries.

Do not use outdoors or for commercial use.  This unit is for household use only.

Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. 

Do not place on or near a hot gas, electric burner, or in a heated oven.

Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot 

oil or other hot liquids.

Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet.

 To 

disconnect, turn off all controls then remove plug from wall outlet

Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

POLARIZED PLUG

: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider 

than the other). As a safety feature, this plug wil

Be cautious when opening any lid while cooking.

Do not use if ceramic cooktop should break or crack, as cleaning solutions

and spillovers may penetrate the broken cook-top and may create 

a risk of an electric shock.

Clean Cook-Top with Caution – If a wet sponge or cloth is used to wipe 

spills on a hot cooking 

 to avoid steam burns; some 

area, be careful

cleaners can produce noxious fumes if applied to a hot surface.

Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on 

or near the appliance
