Opening the furrows for fertilizer and seeds
Adjustments and operations
The fertilizer is deposited over the soil using the double discs, which have adjustments
to change the depth and position related to the seeds, as follows:
• The fertilizer depth is adjusted by the slotted rod (A); change the cotter pins (B)
proportionally for a greater spring (C) pressure.
• The fertilizer position related to the seeds (on the same row or below, or on the
lateral and below) must be adjusted by loosening the bolt (D) and displacing the double
disc to the desired position.
• The fertilizer position

The opening of the furrows is done using the double discs (A), which have adjustable
and flexible internal scrapers (B) to remove the earth that accumulates on the inner part
of the discs.
