Working preparation
Leveling the DCA²
After coupling the drawbar, check the horizontal leveling of the spreader. If required,
make any adjustment as follows:
Consult the tractor's instruction manual and be sure about the possible working positions
with the traction bar. Use the height that provides the best leveling of the equipment.
First of all, verify the length of the cardan shaft in the following way:
• Separate the cardan shaft and couple the 'female' part to the PTO.
• Steer the tractor wheel until it touches the spreader drawbar.
• Couple the 'male' part to the spreader. Being the bars placed side by side, verify the
existence of a minimum free space of five centimeters between the male and female part
in each end.
Coupling the cardan shaft to the PTO
NOTE
At this time, the adjustment range of the tractor drawbar can be used for
shortening it or lengthening it.
