3 – Preparation
Setting the date and time
This unit uses its internal clock to record the date and time to
the recorded files.
1.
Press the MENU button to open the MENU screen.
2.
Use the + or – button to select the
OTHERS
menu item
(highlighted), and press the ENTER/MARK or
/
button.
The
OTHERS
screen opens.
3.
Use the + or – button to select the
DATE/TIME
menu
item, and press the ENTER/MARK or
/
button.
The
DATE/TIME
screen opens.
4.
Use the
.
and
/
buttons to move the cursor, and
use the + and − buttons to change the values.
5.
Press the ENTER/MARK button to confirm the change
and return to the
OTHERS
screen.
NOTE
The unit can automatically add the date and time set here
to file names.(see "Setting the file name format" on page
71)
CAUTION
The date and time setting can be retained for only a few
minutes when power is not supplied from batteries, a
dedicated AC adapter (TASCAM PS-P520E; sold separately)
or USB bus power.
When using batteries, we recommend replacing them
before they are completely dead.
