PRIOR TO USE
Installation
Mounting on the tractor.
1.
Make sure that attachment points of the lower links on the tractor are at the same level.
2.
Adjust the spacing of lower link to three-point frame.
3.
Set rigidly the lower tractor links so that the three-point frame does not move sideways.
This eliminates the possibility of contact the PTO drive shaft with a three-point frame.
4.
Three-point frame connect to three-point hitch linkage of the tractor by means of pins and
secure them by cotters.
5.
Mount the central linkage adjusting its length so that the snow blower is set horizontally.
6.
Depending on the type of tractor and hydraulic lift, check a PTO drive shaft fitting be-
tween the tractor and the machine. The length of engagement in the operating position
must be in accordance with specified in the instruction manual of shaft. Mount the shaft
to the tractor in accordance with the instructions of the shaft.
Before each use:
-
Mount the snow blower on the three-point hitch linkage of the tractor.
-
Connect PTO on the tractor with PTO on the machine by PTO drive shaft according to the
instructions provided with PTO drive shaft.
-
Set the rotary ejector in such a way that the snow stream is facing in the right direction.
-
Turn on the PTO and check the correct work of the tractor and machine.
-
Rise and lock the snow blower in the upper position on the 3-point hitch linkage.
-
Turn off the tractor engine and adjust the height of sliding supports extension.
-
You can begin to removing snow after checking all the mechanisms and making the nec-
essary adjustments.
OPERATION
The correct use
-
Snow blower can be operated only by persons familiar with its operation manual and
trained in its use.
-
Before starting work, check the snow blower technical condition, particularly the tight-
ness of connecting elements and a state of hydraulic components. In the event of damage
or wear of parts that can lower the quality of work or endanger the safety, it is necessary
to replace them with a new one or reconditioned. Besides, you should check the status of
each scraping arms (scraping blades) and sliding supports.
-
In the event of an impact of foreign object while the snow blower is working, you must
stop the tractor engine and check the machine carefully whether there is any damage.
NOTE! Check each time:
-
All connections of bolts and screws.
-
The technical condition of the three-point hitch linkage.
NOTE! When operating a snow blower, tractor must be equipped with two orange
lights flashing to the front and rear.
NOTE!
