Safety Warning
• Never touch damaged cables with bare hands especially AC cables.
• Make sure that connecting cables are fully extended when used,
failure to do so can lead to cable burning!
• For use in boats, if the devise are mains operated it is important that
the system is protected by a fuse.
• Always ensure that correct voltage is applied to the Thermo electric
coolbox, the voltage is stated near the Thermo electric coolbox AC
socket or unit data plate.
• The cool box is not appropriate for transporting corrosive solvent
comprising substances.
• Never obstruct vents to the heat exchange
• Never use abrasive or solvent based material to clean the evapora-
tor.
• Prevent water spillage on the top of the unit.
• Do not fill the compartment with any liquid or ice.
• Never place hot food or drinks in the Thermo electric coolbox.
• Never keep flammable liquids and/or gases inside the Thermo elec-
tric coolbox. Danger of explosion!
Installation instructions
-Prior to use: Clean with a damp cloth.
-Place the Thermo electric coolbox on a firm horizontal surface.
-The product is intended for use indoors or in vehicles and it has to
be kept
away from rain.
-If your Thermo electric coolbox must be very well ventilated so that
the heat which is withdrawn for the equipment to function properly.
-You should protect your Thermo Electric coolbox from direct sun
light and never place near any source of heat.
-Make sure there is room inside the box for the air to circulate.
-Never interfere with the current of air 1 and never put it in a close
room without an air exchanged 2.
Operating Details:
The connecting DC cable (1) of your cooling box fits into the ciga-
rette lighter socket in your car, boat or caravan.
For DC cable, the supplied cable cannot be used when it is damaged.
The best performance can be achieved if the box is filled with pre-
cooled food and drinks. Lock the Thermo electric coolbox tightly
with the electric lid on. After a short time you can make sure of the
impeccable function of your electric cooler at the aluminum grill at
the interior side of the lid, after a period of time the interior tempera-
ture will be reduced.
When car power is used DC 12V
While battery operated make sure when the Thermo electric coolbox
is switched on that the engine is running. If the Thermo electric cool-
box is left running while the engine has stopped this could discharge
the battery of your car making it impossible to restart the engine.
To avoid the battery from discharging we advise you to disconnect
the DC plug from the DC socket when the engine is not running.
Maintenance and care
Please refrain from using a harsh cleaning agent or solvent to clean

the Thermo electric coolbox.. The best way to clean the Thermo Elec-
tric coolbox is with a damp cloth, also using some washing liquid. If
the box is not going to be used for a lengthy period of time it should
be cleaned and dried before putting into storage. In order to prevent
unpleasant odor, leave the lid on the Thermo electric coolbox slightly
open.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons including chil-
dren with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge unless they are under supervision or
been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried
out by children without proper supervision. Disconnect the power
supply before cleaning and maintenance.
All repairs, particularly of the cooling unit must be carried out by a
qualified technician.
DISPOSAL :Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste.
Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is neces-
sary.
Trouble shooting
If your Thermo Electric coolbox does not function correctly please
remove the plug from the socket and carry out the following checks:
- DC – Check the fuse located in the DC plug.
- Your Car, Caravan or boat socket may have a fuse and perhaps it
burnt through. In most vehicles the ignition switch must be switched
on so that the cigarette socket carries current.
- Is the Thermo electric coolbox placed in horizontal position?
- Is there sufficient ventilation?
- For battery operation check the battery and the connection.
- Has too much food/drinks been placed inside the box, arrange the
food/drinks so
that the air is free to circulate inside the Thermo electric coolbox.
