INSTALLING SHAFT

1. Insert the drive shaft assembly (A) into the shaft

mount (B). Ensure that the shaft locks into place and
that the screw holes on the drive shaft and shaft
mount line up. Insert the silver (C) screw through the
shaft mount and into the drive shaft. (Fig. 1A)

2. To lock the shaft into place, slide the adjustable clamp

(D) over the drive shaft (E) and then onto the shaft
mount (B). (Fig. 1B) NOTE: Before sliding the
adjustable clamp over the drive shaft, ensure that the
dimples of the adjustable clamp are facing towards
the bottom. (Fig. 1C)

3. Position the adjustable clamp (D) on

the shaft mount (B) so that the middle dimple rests
above the silver screw (C) in the shaft mount. (Fig.
1D)

4. Insert the black screw (F) through the adjustable

clamp (D) and tighten with nut (G) using a spanner
and screwdriver (not supplied). (Fig. 1E)

DRIVE SHAFT

Installing the lower shaft on power head

1. Remove the cover from the lower shaft (A). Press the

release lever (B) while pushing the lower shaft into the
tool-link couping. (Fig. 2A)

2. Locate and lock the release lever into the primary hole

(C) in the shaft. (Fig. 2A)

3. Tighten the knob (D) securely clockwise before using

the unit. (Fig. 2B)

INSTALLING NOZZLE

Your unit comes with a flare nozzle and connector nozzle.
Use the following instructions to interchange the two noz-
zles. 

To Change nozzle:

1.  Press on the button on the top of the nozzle near the

connection, and pull the nozzle outward.

2.  Insert another nozzle in place with the button in the

hole of the nozzle.

USING THE FLARE NOZZLE

Use the flare nozzle for large, hard surface areas such as
driveways and sidewalks. (See Fig. 3A)

USING THE CONCENTRATOR NOZZLE

Use the concentrator nozzle for hard to reach places such
as corners in a garage or to control dust in a dust laden
environment. (See Fig. 3B)

CAUTION:  Make sure the release lever is
locked in the primary hole and knob is
securely tightened before operating this unit.

CAUTION:  All attachments are designed to
be used in the primary hole unless otherwise
indicated in the specific attachment’s opera-
tor’s manual. If the incorrect hole is used, it
could result in injury, or damage to the unit.
