Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
NOTE:
If an optional face-up tray is installed on your printer, complete the following two steps to
remove it, otherwise proceed directly to Step 6 below.

Lift to remove the face-up tray.
5.
Untighten the thumbscrews as indicated and remove the connecting plate.
