Installing the RS232/422 Serial Interface in the 34PPM Laser Printer

Gently place the RS232/422 option into the controller assembly as shown below.

While aligning the front bracket of the serial interface assembly to the two respective thumb-
screws on the controller assembly bracket, firmly seat the 80-pin male connector on the
underside of the interface to the 80-pin female connector on the controller assembly.
