Memory, PostScript (PS) and Barcode Installation.

Additional memory, Barcode and the PS option are provided on DIMMs.

Turn the power off and unplug all cables from the printer

2

Remove the two screws on the rear of the printer,

then remove the control board cover.

3

Locate the Barcode/PS DIMM slot (upper slot)

and the memory SIMM slot (lower slot) on the control board.

They are not interchangeable.

- To install the

Memory DIMM

, continue with Step 5.

- To install the

Barcode / PS DIMM

, go to Step 4.
