Strap must be locked and fastened to keep batteries in place.

The pins will only connect if the notches are properly aligned. No
great force is needed.
Always make sure connectors are securely fastened to prevent water
entry.

Press down on inner cover with some force to make sure the locks
are secured underneath the hinges for a water tight seal.
