STARTER KEY
COVERS
The starter key is used to start and stop the
engine, as well as to lock and unlock the
following components:
• Cab door
• Engine hood
• Covers
• Tool box
RIGHT SIDE COVER
• Stop the engine and allow the machine
to cool down before performing
maintenance.
• Do not keep the right side cover open
on a windy day or if the machine is
parked on a slope.
• When opening and closing the right side
cover, be careful not to get your hands
or other parts of your body caught by
the cover.
For inspection and maintenance of the
hydraulic oil system, fuel system, electrical
system or window washer, open this cover.
The fuel supply pump is stored under the
cover.
1. Insert the starter key and turn it
counterclockwise to unlock the right side
cover (1).
2. Push in the key hole with your thumb and
open the right side cover (1) all the way.
Closing
1. Close the right side cover (1) and press it
down until a click is heard.
2. Insert the starter key and turn it clockwise
to lock the right side cover (1).
Opening
Releasing the stopper (wire rope)
To widely open the right side cover, follow
the steps below to release the stopper.
1. Pull out the R-pin (2) from the fixing pin (1)
and remove the washer (3).
2. Remove the stopper (4) from the fixing pin
(1).
The right side cover now opens 60°.
To limit the right side cover opening to
40°, follow the above steps in the reverse
order.
